The first variant of this design dropped in 2017 this 'Obsidian' colourway for the Air Jordan 1 pays tribute to Michael Jordan's college alma mater through a team-inspired (University of North Carolina), colour block palette on the leather upper. With the silhouette itself a work of nostalgia, modernizing the 1985 icon's distinctive elements to honour Michael Jordan's legendary career arc. The 2019 revamp continues with the tradition, as matching branding notes and Swooshes play their part in the homage. As well as a Nike Air infused midsole and circular rubber outsole to supply classic comfort and traction.
